Welcome Home to Ken Caryl Ranch |
|
Ken Caryl Ranch is a 9,197 acre master-planned community located just 18 miles southwest of Denver in the beautiful Colorado foothills. Once the working ranch of cattle baron and newspaper publisher John Shaffer, the property was developed so as to maximize the natural beauty of the area and currently features over 6,000 acres of private and Ken Caryl Ranch Master Association Open Space!
The Ranch today consists of three main areas … Ken Caryl Plains, Ken Caryl Valley and The North Ranch. Both Ken Caryl Valley and The North Ranch lie just west of C-470, tucked behind the beautiful Dakota and Lyons Hogbacks. Ken Caryl Plains lies just east of the hogback. The Ken Caryl Business Center also occupies this area, offering easy access to grocery, retail, restaurants and banking services. At full development, Ken Caryl Ranch anticipates approximately 16,000 residents in 5,200 homes. |

The entire community is linked by trails and bikeways, which connect Ken Caryl to Chatfield State Park and the South Platte Trail system, extending north into central Denver. Ken Caryl Ranch is located in Unincorporated Jefferson County … our mailing address is Littleton, however Ken Caryl is not actually a part of the City of Littleton as the Ken Caryl Master Association and Jefferson County are the actually governing entities over the community.
With a rich and interesting history combined with extensive recreation, stunning views and scenic wildlife, Ken Caryl Ranch is undeniably the perfect example of what people are looking for when considering a move to Colorado!
